I believe creation is an on-going process. New things emerge, while the old slowly sinks away into the "Shifting Sands"

This book sculpture is carved from a 1972 volume of the Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia.

The sculpture is glued together in the shut position. All surfaces are coated with a UV resistant clear medium to prevent fading from light. If not abused, this book sculpture should last for generations.

It is signed (engraved) with the year on the bottom of the book, out of view.

A metal hanger has been permanently attached for easy wall hanging; just hang it on a screw or nail, or prop it up on a bookshelf.
