This piece is a 40 x 50 cm acrylic painting on stretched canvas. It does not come with an outer frame but it is ready to hang with a wire on its back.

I wanted to create a peaceful, atmospheric sky landscape painting, by painting in layers of thin washes of paint. The softness of the clouds against the blue sky in contrast with the rough edges of the green trees in the horizon line.

This painting was painted in a modern impressionism meets abstract landscape style. Drawing inspiration from many different artists with different techniques, I allowed myself to explore the possibilities of the medium.
