Portrait of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko in honor of the 210th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian poet.

On the shoulders is the flag of Ukraine with excerpts of the writer's poems, the words of which have become a symbol of the struggle of the Ukrainian people.

While I was drawing the portrait, I read many poems, looked for a detailed biography of the writer, looked at his manuscripts in order to write poems that would at least look a little like the author's hand, looked at his paintings because he drew very well... at some point I thought about the color of his eyes), about his mustache and so on ... it was exciting and very interesting, as if I was communicating with a living person who has very powerful energy.
