This is a square format painting on deep-edge canvas, inspired by the light and weather of south west Ireland, where I spent some time in early 2018.
It's painted using professional artist quality acrylics, mainly tones of ultramarine, turquoise, burnt and raw umber, mauve, Mars black and white; the sides are painted in similar colours to complement the rest of the artwork, and it has one coat of varnish for protection. There is a 'deckled effect round the edge of the painting where the dried paint has overlapped the edges: I have left these unsanded as it adds to the overall organic atmosphere of the work.
The painting is initialled in the lower right front, and labelled/signed in full on the back. It is unframed, and there are picture hooks and cord on the reverse so it's ready to hang.
The painting will be carefully packaged, and sent tracked and insured with a reputable carrier.
Please note that the shipping costs quoted are the maximum for the destination country and the package size: if there is a discrepancy between the estimated and actual postage costs, I will ask Artfinder if they can reimburse the difference to the buyer.
Thank you very much for your interest in this painting, I would be delighted to answer any questions about it, so please get in touch if there is anything you would like to ask.
International buyers please be aware that any import duties, taxes or charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These are entirely the responsibility of the buyer and cannot be reimbursed later. The artist is also not responsible for any costs related to delays in transit or at customs. Buyers are requested to make their own enquiries regarding any such additional charges which may apply in their country.
