Original artwork description:

Painted on-site along 3 mile drive at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Features a large Maple Tree in full autumn color with arcing branches that create a canopy underneath the tree. The sweeping landscape is continued by a second maple to the right, whose branches complement the arcing shape. Bright yellow foliage from other trees shows through the orange branches, creating a striking glowing effect. The scene is also complemented by the brilliant blue sky and deeply colored shrubbery along the road. Iridescent rose and blue paint give the road a subtle shimmer and contrast with the warm colors of the trees.

Painted in oil over casein paint on stretched canvas. Comes with painted sides and wire on the back for hanging.
