I've been quite intrigued lately by dealing with darkness in my work whether it be at night or early morning. The contrast between light and dark can be extreme and the light from headlights and traffic lights create abstract patterns of shapes that I find challenging to deal with. I try to keep my marks simple and let the picture come together in a gestalt sort of way.
