I’ve been enjoying lots of early spring walks with the dog on the farmland behind my house and love watching more animals start to appear as the weather begins to warm up.
The early morning light on their fleeces is what initially captured my attention, making these ewes appear to be far more colourful than the norm.
Sheep are inquisitive creatures so I was amused by this group as one resolutely refused to look towards the camera.
Drawn mainly in coloured pencil on Bristol board with acrylic ink used to outline and highlight.
It measures 10 x 12 inches (25 X 30cm) with mount so will fit a standard sized frame.
It is signed on the front on mount, on the reverse of the drawing and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
