I love to see the sheep when I am walking in the British countryside. On this bright, but cloudy, spring day the countryside was looking particularly beautiful - even the muddy track leading up the hillside with the red soil against the green of the grass was an attractive sight seen through artist's eyes.
This pastel painting of a gentle pastoral scene is restful to the eye, as was the scene itself.
The painting is framed by a white mount/mat and a light oak effect frame.
