This impressionistic portrait of a hen has been done in cool colors and using wet-in-wet technique. The paper is beautifully textured Saunders Waterford which takes water very well. have used salt to create an impression of feathers on the hen's body and completed the painting using some fine brushwork.The background has been left clean,save for a few drops of color around the subject.
Please note that actual colors may vary a little from the digital image, depending on your screen settings.
