This single pink peony dominates the moody, textured background. This artwork is built up of layers of acrylic paint and spray paint using a variety of tools and mark making. The dark, muted tones of the background contrast with the white highlights on the flower and the bold flashes of copper.

60 x 60cm mixed media painting on board - finished with a layer of matt varnish - in a white wood floating frame with fixings for hanging.
