My take on a social scene, a public setting, people on a park bench. And they are all sharing aren’t they. Two on the right sharing music. Two in the middle sharing a beverage. On the left she is looking back at you!
The larger size and firm surface of the paper has freed me up to better express colour … within the outlines of the subject, people resting on a bench , interacting, the body language, the expressions. I do enjoy expressing the friendliness I see in crowds. But it’s mainly about the colour play.
The close up pictures are to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
