Whilst doing this picture I was also tidying up my backyard and pruning the roses and it got me thinking, roses are beautiful to look at but can be dangerous to handle due to their thorns and I started to wonder if the danger adds to the beauty. I have come to the conclusion that it does because it adds excitement and a feeling of adventure. Now wouldn't that be great if you could capture that emotion in a work of art?
