Original artwork description:

This rolled canvas board had had a previous image that I abandoned, so I put a coat of gesso over the canvas. The irregular texture left on the canvas interested me, so I painted the Shapes of a Motorcyclist expressionist oil painting with flat bold colours, modelled flesh and hands. I liked the combination of flat colours, some modelling and irregular texture that resulted.
Painted in traditional oil paint on a Superior Canvas board. The work has been finished with protective varnish, this not only protects the painting but has a unifying effect. The work only needs framing to to make it ready to hang.
