This little painting is on handmade 500lb flax paper prepped with hide glue and matt acrylic medium features the flared likeness of a fried after dark. The reference gave me a chance to let go of the form and let paint take over the image. I love paint in all of its viscosities and behaviours.

oil and acrylics on hand-pressed flax rag paper / more like a board.
