This 9x12" painting is of my friend Shami's rickshaw in Colomb Bay, Goa where I spend the Indian winter.
It's painted on 300gsm archive quality paper using archive ink pen and watercolour paint, along with a healthy dose of ocean spray and sunshine.
No matter the time of day, Shami would respond to my call... ferrying me back in his rickshaw from the market to the beach, early morning, late at night whatever the time he was always there with a smile and as such, I felt inspired to paint his rickshaw... who knows, maybe next winter I'll actually 'paint' his rickshaw (if he lets me!).
Watercolour, Ink pen
