An original portrait painting of William Shakespeare, adapted from a contemporary period painting attributed to be of him. This is part of a series of Shakespeare-themed paintings also for sale here on Artfinder. Created for an art event in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2018.

Handpainted in my art-on-leather style, framed behind glass, ready for wall hanging or free standing.

The artwork is painted on fine black nappa leather.

USA shipping is door-to-door by DHL courier, although expensive is highly reliable and they take good care of art and handle all of the customs clearance.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I do ship to most countries, given the current complexities over some major carriers limiting destinations, differing import tax rates let alone COVID & Brexit etc I have removed the international shipping rates from my listings. If you are seriously interested in a piece and you are outside the UK please message me here through Artfinder and I can work out a bespoke shipping quote for you. I will endeavour to find out and include import duty as well so you will have full visibility of costs with the added benefit of art not being subject to a 'customs delay'.
