"Shadows" is an original high texture abstract oil painting measuring 20 x 20 x 0.75 inches, painted using professional grade oil paint and stretched over a hand crafted wood frame.

The painting is sealed with a final coat of high-gloss varnish for protection.
All sides are staple free, painted, and finished making it ready to hang.
Signed on the side. Titled, signed and dated on the back.

The Inspiration: Much of my work plays on the elements of texture and movement, pieces like “Shadows” specifically emphasize the textural elements that naturally come along with palette knife paintings. Working with palette knives not only creates a texture that I obsess over, but also takes away some control and precision I would usually have with paint brushes. The decision to work in black and white highlights the stark contrast of each stroke.
