Original artwork description:

I loved these shadowed rocks by Pobbles Bay, darkened by the descending westerly sun, as I walked back from Three Cliffs Bay in Gower Peninsula.
I loved also the contrast in the hard texture of the rugged rocks and the soft, swishing texture of the waves.
I loved the graduation of light and colour too, from the monochromatic to the vibrantly coloured waves and cliffs in the distance.
Hence I am now sharing it with you in this painting.
