Thinking of the struggles and battles my little girl will have to endure in her lifetime is terrifying. However, my wife and I believe in her confidence and tenacity. I have a feeling she will be doling out the shade and be doing just fine, but we want her to be a model for girls/women. Be compassionate, yet true to your goals, be kind, but don't be a push-over, be happy, but not at other's expense, be yourself, PERIOD.
