I decided to make this artwork after painting “Avoidance” inspired by the way the ground looked in my previous painting, it reminded me of sewing. So I made this one with similar looking ground and a sewing needle from the sky sewing the ground together. A trail of green thread creates seedlings and the excess thread falls to the ocean in the background which birds emerge from
This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, has a certificate of authenticity and always sold with hooks ready to hang!
