Original artwork description:

With all the high level slipperiness (real snakes are quite dry, unlike those used in painted clichés) and poison ejected by the world’s elite it felt all too appropriate a subject matter to approach. I suppose I could have just painted 'what a bunch of bastards' on board, but the snake felt more poetic, plus it comes with its own solution.

Scratch the surface of the painting, both literally and figuratively, and it is a rumination on how we ended up where we are now.

Venom and stupidity rarely pair well.

Acrylic, pencil and ink on board.

Ready to hang!
