Mysterious and absorbing, large oil painting.
This softly rendered artwork allows your imagination to drift and your mind to settle.
Multiple layers of delicate oil paint have been used to create this atmospheric artwork. I have become interested in exploring, through my paintings, how mist shifts to reveal and conceal, altering the atmosphere and ones perception of the landscape, thus creating a sense of mystery. Here the landscape has become almost abstract, as reality slips in and out of view, revealed and concealed.
Ready to hang.
Painted in oil on a stretched canvas, 3.5cm deep. This additional depth allows for the artwork to look especially attractive unframed, or propped on a surface. Edges left a clean white (please see additional photograph).
Signed on the rear and Certificate of Authenticity provided.
