Inspired by my time touring and exploring the NaPali coast of Kauai.

We cruised down the Na Pali, Capt. Pepe at the helm, first mate Amy standing by. Besides Pepe being an awesome artist first and foremost, for him, this is his normal commute, he captains a boat along the Na Pali. Can you imagine?! This day he invited me out to explore this awe-inspiring coastline with him, his wife Amy, and some friends. Yes please!

Anytime I can get out to the north shore of Kauai, and it being a good day to be on the water, I was a definite yes, and was looking forward to it for good long while. I was stoked!

Waterfalls, verdant forests of ferns, towering cliffs, cathedrals of green covered volcanic rock , emerald waters turning to aqua, wide smiles, laughing, stars in the sky while trolling Hanalei Bay, so much gratitude …a perfect day.

Original Oil painting applied with brushes on archival canvas. Painting measures 30" x 24" x 1.5". Gallery Wrapped (image is painted around the sides). Varnish applied to protect the painting against the elements. Ready to hang.
