A large and impressive oval gallery wrapped original oil on canvas painting.

With this contemporary style of presentation the painted image is continued around the outer rim of the stretcher as an integral part of the painting and therefore no additional framing is necessary. Supplied ready to hang with advice on hanging methods and future care of this unique original oil painting.

The shallow water allows the underwater sand to be visible and the light shining through the water creates some intriguing and interesting additional patterns. Other areas of the water in contrast to the warm colours of the sand reflect the sky. The water is painted in a relatively smooth style however there is some evidence of brush work to produce a sense of subtle movement in the water.

This oval canvas has been constructed from scratch in the studio to my own design and specification. The linen canvas stretched in the studio and then double sized and triple primed to provide a superior painting surface. Professional quality materials have been used throughout the whole painting.

The painting will be shipped in a robust purpose built plywood crate to ensure safe transit. Some international destinations may attract import duty and this is usually in the region of 5%. Please message me if you require more info.
