I painted this sketch on an autumn day, when the sun is still warm, but on the slope of the day the cold creeps up unnoticed. The smell of fallen leaves, similar to the smell of watermelon, and the noises of the forest, occasionally you can hear a woodpecker or a cuckoo somewhere far away singing its monotonous song.
