This scene was spotted from a layby in the Lake District. I was attracted to the composition of the lone tree balancing against the distant hills to the left and natural rocks and boulders in the foreground. A warm palette was chosen to reflect a summer's morning. Acrylic inks were first applied to establish the range of lights and dark and soft pastel was then applied to refine the painting.
This work is presented double mounted ready for framing. It will be dispatched cello wrapped and carefully packaged in an appropriate strong cardboard box protected by bubble wrap and sent via a tracked courier.
A certificate of authenticity will be provided.
