Original artwork description:

Inspired by my love for the colour turquoise, I have depicted a woman in a quiet, reflective pose. She is living the colour: the scent, the feeling of it, even the sound of it as it fills her ears. It flows from her palm and her heart, into the spectrum of colours around her.

I have hinted at the lines on her palm: the heart, head and life lines are sketched in, and I've also added a star shape which is on my own palm.

The pastel is lightly sprayed with Winsor & Newton pastel fixative, packed very carefully.
