A mysterious urban (?) landscape with strong contrasts, created with thin layers of transparent acrylic. No textures, no impasto, lots of subtleties and transparencies, even in the dark tones, this painting is made with the technic of a watercolor applied to acrylic.

The main subject of this work is mystery... An imaginery strange landscape, with delicate blue and green, strong contrasts of shadow and fire (?).

Main colors are blue, brown, green, greyish blue, transparent dark brown, yellow and orange... The style is modern, contemporary, semi-abstract.

"A semi-abstract nocturne where the representation is slightly jostled, enough to ask questions. Figurative markers ask more questions than they answer. Concrete elements could be recognised: fire, a bridge, water. But their association does not work according to classical standards. Reality is subtly destructured.
This work can be hung in any position and each time a different meaning emerges. Here, the urban becomes nature, here, it's the other way round. Presented vertically, this painting speaks to us of something else.
Only the reference to ignition remains. Why does it remain? Unfathomable mystery to which no answer should be given. Art allows us to create worlds."
