This artwork is an original, one-off work by the artist. It is the second in the Semblance works.

This work explores the idea that the outward appearances are very different from the substance. I just let my emotions flow with the paint, each stroke of the brush feeds the emotion for the next and so on. There are different emotions all contrasted together It is an exploration of abstractionism and painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.

This work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand stretched onto a frame is 200 cm in height by 200 cm in width.

This work was created in July 2018.

In my paintings, I use finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
