In this encaustic creation, I combined the the texture of wax end depth of oil paints to explore abstract symbolism. The hues of blue and green reflect the mysteries of the subconscious mind, while the geometric symbols invite contemplation on the structured chaos of life. This piece is an invitation to introspection, adding a serene yet thought-provoking energy to any space.
Encaustic painting over a solid wood board. Its size is 43 x 53.5 x 3 cm. The painting is framed. Encaustic is a wax based paint composed of beeswax, damar resin and pigment or oil paint, which is kept molten on a heated palette. When It's applied to the surface with brushes then it's reheated again in order to fuse the paint, bringing the colors into a harmonious composition.
