About the artist:
Robert Tolchin is an artist who is as comfortable under the red glow of his darkroom safelight as he is in front of his computer monitor. A second generation photographer, classically trained in the photo program of Columbia College Chicago, Tolchin's work ranges from traditional, beautiful black and white figurative nudes to conceptual, digital images conceived in his imagination. His work is exhibited widely and is in personal and corporate collections worldwide. Working from his studio north of Chicago he is available for fine art and portrait commissions.
