This artwork is the first of a series of self portaits which I painted during the pandemic. Being in my studio without the possibility of seeing people and work with models gave me the chance to look into myself and work on my technique. Here you have the highly detailed and realistic version of my self portrait, the last one I painted in the series and the first I present to the public. The colour palette I used for this painting drives to the blue, matching the clean light blue of the background.
