Original artwork description:

Little by little, the work gained its character and meaning in a very similar way to the process suffered by the main character in Oscar Wilde's book "The Picture of Dorian Grey". It is a process of self-examination that we all experience from time to time.

"Self Image" is a one of a kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil archival grade mylar. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors.
I only sell original work so there will only be one original.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. In this painting, the concrete wall background has been digitally reproduced and laminated to the 5 mil archival grade mylar and then the two portrait and other items were painted over the background.

This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a two inch border all around. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
