Last year I made a series of 13 drawings about lotus flowers, all against a black background drawn with charcoal. The flower and the leaves are done in pencil. All the amazing reference photos I used were shot by Bahman Farzad, a great American photographer and lotus lover who gave me permission to use his photographs.
