Original artwork description:

The goddess Kannon sent her son Seiryuu to protect Kyoto. He watches closely from the hill of the Kiyomizu Dera temple. Nothing escapes his multiple eyes. There in the Temple of Pure Water he transmits good luck to everyone who stops for a moment by his side and asks for it with a silent prayer that is always answered.
Behind Seiryuu the temple of the bell that the monks toll.
The broken lines highlight the watchful perpetual movement of the guardian surrounded by the vermilion red of the temple and the manganese blue of the Kyoto sky.
