The painting "Seek out for Glimmers" symbolises the constant search for moments of love, hope, safety, and human connection that spark the spirit. When we feel secure, we can embrace generosity, empathy, growth, and compassion. The title was inspired by a workshop on developing mental resilience that I attended earlier this year. A key concept was "neuroplasticity" - the brain's capacity to change and rewire itself over time. To demonstrate this, participants crossed their arms in the usual way, then switched to the opposite. Everyone found it challenging to break the habit and rewire to a new pattern, even with practice. This exercise illustrated how our brains build ingrained thought patterns and perceptions that can be hard to change. Yet with consistent effort, it is possible to retrain our minds and adopt entirely different mindsets. Just as we can rewire our arm crossing, we can rewire our brains.

I use the highest-grade archival materials in creating this artwork to ensure that this painting is ready to withstand the ages. All of my Originals come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting surface is protected with a coat of matt varnish. The painting is unframed.
