Original artwork description:

This painting is one of a series of three inspired by the play of light and colour and reflections from the landscape and sky on the movement of water while sailing around the Greek Ionions in 2011 and the Western Isles of Scotland in 2012. This offered creative possibilities not found on land as shape and colour became scattered and fragmented. I mixed all the colours from a primary base working intuitively towards a harmonious outcome. The painting is framed by myself in a recycled limed pine wooden frame and could easily be re-framed if desired. I am happy to email photos of the framed work if requested.
