This is the second of a series of small paintings I am (slowly!) working on entitled "Seed". The concept for the series is based on my thoughts on humans as organic beings of nature and how we come from nature. It also links to birth, rebirth and awakening. Seed 2 depicts a woman "growing" out from a bearded iris flower.
