The landscape was painted on very cold winter days. We went to the plein air together with wonderful artists Roman Nayden and Bogdan Makarenko. Sedniv, with its complex multi-level landscape, is interesting for painting in all seasons. A variety of interesting views open up from each hill in all directions. It was difficult to deal with this large canvas format. The short winter day and the cold made me work very concentrated, intense and fast. The landscape is painted in an impressionistic style.
