My current series of paintings is called “Beneath the reality” The subjects of my paintings, see themselseves in another world. We have our dark sides, and light, parts of ourselves that we show, and others we hide within. Together, this combination creates the beauty of who we are. Sometime the reality is to hard to survive at it,so my characters live in another dimension, a dimension of fantasy and dream.

I generate the ideas and concepts in my mind before to start the painting, the very beginning of all are my feelings,my emotions. For me, the more I paint, the more i know myself. The painting is a metaphor of human life and how we are shaped by what we have experienced in some form or another. I completely change the colors relationship in order to express what is in my mind. My intention is to arrive at a balance between the order and the chaos, light and dark, and tradition and expression, always searching for the balance, as I do in life. The paintings begin to have a life of their own that is not really in my control.
