Original artwork description:

Woman receiving a kiss from a hidden lover.
His face gently touches her cheek.

I've embellished a black linoprint which is hand-printed by burnishing on fine but strong Japanese paper.
I've extended the image, at the top with the green leaves and at the bottom with flowing white lines which make it look as if she's ascending towards him.
Then I've added dramatic colouring in red, blue and vivid green.

This hand-colouring is with Derwent Inktense permanent colour and a little touch of Winsor & Newton Pearlescent acrylic paint here and there on her lips and eyes.
Signed and dated 2021.

When it is time to frame this image, instead of a mount/mat covering the edges, it might be nice to 'float' the image in a box frame.
