Original artwork description:

This artwork on the Japanese Zen idea of 'Simply Living.' When one lives simply, one can find the beauty that would otherwise be hidden or secret. Emotionally, I am drawn to this idea and soI explored the idea here. This work is painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

This work is painted on professional-grade canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas has the dimensions 91.4 cm width x 182.9 cm height. The work has sections that are impasto (thick paint), while the sides are painted white and so there is no need for a frame.

This work was created on the 12th day of February 2021.

This artworks is an entrant in the Gosford Art Prize 2021.
