A limited edition, hand pulled lino print of a sitting female nude on patterned paper
A fantastic way to own an original and unique piece of art, for your home decor or for your art collection.
The artwork has been drawn and hand cut into lino, inked and hand printed individually, giving each print its own unique and individual patina.
The purchased artwork will measure 30 x 30 cm.
The artwork is hand printed onto 135gsm archival patterned paper, each model and pose is only paired with a pattern design once, meaning each and every print is unique.
My Lino Cut work is heavily influenced and informed by German Expressionist woodcut artist's such as Erich Heckel and Emil Nolde and further by the Die Brucke artistic movement. I aim to provide a unique and contemporary take on the long tradition of woodcut and lino print expressionist/folk art.
The human figure is my primary inspiration in drawing and painting, to explore the possibilities of line, shape, colour and form.
From originally attending life drawing classes as an aid to my studies in art, the human figure has since become my abiding passion to explore my creativity in a multitude of media - drawing, painting, collage and even embroidery.
