seated figure with pink 2-4-21 is a female figure study on canvas in oils using a muted palette contrasting with areas of vibrant colour. The work is painted with a fluid application of paint, staining and stripping back to allow areas of raw canvas to be visible. The work is a continuation in his interest in the notion of change and impermanence as parts of the figure dissolve into the background.
The work is titled and signed on the back and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
