Original artwork description:
This is a painting of a seat in fast food shop. I walked through my locale at night and took a series of photos. This shop caught my eye and I whittled the possibilities I wanted to use down to this close up and cropped image. I loved the rich colour on the plastic seat, and the patterning of the floor changing from warm to cool in the shadows. I read an article on fast food restaurants and the description of the furniture as 'bolt down' made me realise that this was exactly the right title for this image.
