A large reduction linocut inspired by a recent trip to Southwold in Suffolk, featuring a bank of wildflowers, beach huts and waves.
A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of 16 prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.
This piece was printed in 13 layers and 22 colours, using water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit in a 16x20inch frame.
This artwork will be packaged in a bubble envelope with plenty of card support for safety.
Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Mounted to fit into a 16 x 20 inch frame.
