Original artwork description:

I loved the scene of late afternoon sun illuminating the top of the Fish Hopper restaurant on the Cannery Row in Monterey. This is the view from the McAbee Beach, with its famous mural of two Chinese fishermen on a portion of wall remaining from an old cannery, which captures so well the unique essence of Cannery Row.

Materials:
Oil on oil-primed Claessens Belgian linen on 1/8 MDF archival art panel, the back of the panel finished with melamine that prevents warping and deterioration. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.
