Original artwork description:

This painting started life out as an experiment in mark-making. The image is taken from observation from Lempa, Cyprus, overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The painting was created on a large piece of recycled canvas found in the studio space Adam was using, upon first arriving, and then cropped to the image Adam found the most interesting. It uses a variety of marks in its making to encapsulate the colours and feeling at the time of the year.
