Original artwork description:

A collage piece in which West examines pollution in the sea. Whilst living in Devon in the UK close to the coast West witnessed the consequences of human activity upon the marine environment. This piece combines botanical forms with old photographs in an attempt to highlight the dynamic between the natural and industrial.

Materials used:

Old books and photographs with water based glue. Includes seaweed
