The seagulls rule the beach, and it is a joy to watch them in their proper habitat

I have printed the seagulls and beach in "beachy colors", for each color, all the prints go through the press, then you cut away more lino to keep the colour you just printed, a technique known as reduction linocut or "lost plate" which means that when the edition is printed of only 9 prints is sold, I can't print any more.

I made 9 prints, a very short edition.
The lovely bright white heavey weight printmaking paper measures 16" x 20"
( 40 cm x 50 cm )
the actual linoplate, the printed area measures 12" x 15" ( 30 cm x 38 cm )
all prints come signed and numbered.
